Personal information

Dr Karani Shiyuka is a social historian with a strong bias towards the history of African religions. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from Moi University, Kenya, and a Master of Arts in history and PhD from Kenyatta University, Kenya. Shiyuka teaches at the Department of History, Archaeology, and Political Studies and also sits in various Departmental Committees and Boards including the Curriculum Review and Research and Innovation committees and the Postgraduate Defense Board. He is also in charge of teaching unit allocation and timetabling.
